Love Hurts

CT Tutorial Using Clockwork Noir from Pink Paradox Productions.

The creation of this tutorial is my own any resemblance to any other tutorial is strictly a coincidence.
Do not copy this tutorial or claim it as your own. If you would like to share it, please share the link to the site this is posted on ONLY.
This tutorial is written using Adobe Photoshop CS5 and is for those with a working knowledge of Photoshop. This tutorial can be adapted for anyone with a working knowledge of PSP.

Before we start, I will say drag and drop elements onto your canvas. In Photoshop it is possible to do this instead of having to copy and paste like you do in other programs. But if you are more comfortable copying and pasting, then by all means do what is easier for you. I also use a white background while I’m making my tag but I delete it when I am finished.

Supplies needed:
Pink Paradox Productions Clockwork Noir scrap kit. You can find where to buy it here.

The tube I’m using is Keith Garveys Clockwork. You can get his tubes here at Garv Girls PSP Tubes. Remember, you cannot use any of tubes without a license.

Mask: Monti’s Blinds Mask, you can get it here. Be sure to follow her TOU if you use her masks.

Flou-Mouvement Filter Radial Shoved. If you don’t have this, then any filter that does a Blurred Motion will work.

Font used is Hattenschweiler. You can use any font you want though.

Open a canvas 600x600

Create your mask using paper 14. Place on your canvas to your liking.

Open E50. Place it slightly off center on the left. Do not reduce the size. Stretch the height to 106.4%, leaving the width the same. The element will be off the canvas on 3 sides.

Open E67. Position it over element 50 slightly towards the top of your canvas.

Open frame 10. Reduce to these dimensions:
Width = 58.4%
Height = 49.6%
Rotate to -11.6
Place in the center of your canvas and add a drop shadow.

Open your tube place in the center of your canvas. Add a drop shadow.

If there is a close up of your tube, use that. Drag it onto your canvas. (If your tube doesn’t have one, then enlarge it enough to where the right eye and half the face are under on the right side of the frame.) Do this with the original close up layer of your tube. Duplicate it and move it to the left side of the frame. Going back to the close up on the right side, erase what is sticking out of the sides of the frame from your original close up. Apply the Flou-Mouvement filter Radial Shoved using the default settings.
Now go to the duplicate and place it behind the frame but under the arm of the tube. I used her whole face this time. Once you have it where you like it, then apply the filter.

Open E29. Reduce 21.5%. Rotate 13.0. Add a drop shadow and place in the top left hand of your canvas.

Open E79. Reduce 35.3%. Rotate 19.4. Place over the left hand side of the frame, behind your tube.

Open E20. Reduce to these settings.
Width = 44.1%
Height = 42.4%
Place behind your tube on the lower right hand corner of you canvas. Add a drop shadow.

Open E22. Reduce 23.8% and place on top of the candles just off to the side of the tubes left leg.

Open E25. Flip horizontally. Reduce 21.5%. Place by the tube’s right hip. Add a drop shadow.

Open E90. Reduce 54.4 %. Rotate -4.8. Open your Blending Options. Add a drop shadow using the default settings. Add a white stroke using the default settings.

Open E98. Reduce 21.9%. Place near the top hat. Duplicate.

Open E58. Reduce 22.9%. Place under the light bulbs (element 98) Open your Blending Options. Add a drop shadow using the default settings. Add an Outer Glow using the default settings.

Open E19. Reduce to 30.8%. Place on the left side of the frame and duplicate.

Open E24. Reduce to these settings.
Width = 71.0%
Height = 72.2%
Rotate – 7.2
Place in the center of your canvas midway to the top behind your tube.

Open E69. Reduce to these settings.
Width = 17.7%
Height = 25.9%
Place Under the mask over the right side of the frame. Add a drop shadow.

Open E48. Reduce 26.2%. Place under the tube near the top of the canvas. Add a drop shadow.

Open E58. Reduce 29.6%. Duplicate and add a drop shadow. Place one on the tube’s right leg, the other on the left leg.
Duplicate again. Reduce 91.9%. Add an Outer Glow and place between the two roses.

Open E88. Reduce 60.8%. Place in the lower left corner, over the roses.

Open E99. Reduce 23.2%. Rotate -11.4. Place on the lower left corner above the barbed wire. Add a drop shadow.

Add your font. Add a drop shadow. (F1C065). Open your blending options. Click Bevel and Emboss using the default settings. Place the name on the top left of your canvas or wherever you want to put it.

Add your license and your watermark. Delete the white background if you used one and you’re done.
