Sorrow

I made this with my BIL in mind. He's in the hospital right now and it doesn't look too good for him.

The tube I used is Peaceful Fairie from Zindy Zone Shop.

The kit is Black & White from Beata 2011 Designs.

I used the mask from WeeScottLass Creations.

UPDATE: Unfortunately, we lost my BIL last week. Although I know he's not in pain anymore. I wish he was still here with us.

Rainbow Blues

CT PTU tag using the kit Rainbow Blues by Alexis's Graphic Palace.

The creation of this tutorial is my own any resemblance to any other tutorial is strictly a coincidence.
Do not copy this tutorial or claim it as your own. If you would like to share it, please share the link to the site this is posted on ONLY.
This tutorial is written using Adobe Photoshop CS5 and is for those with a working knowledge of Photoshop. This tutorial can be adapted for anyone with a working knowledge of PSP.

Before we start, I will say drag and drop elements onto your canvas. In Photoshop it is possible to do this instead of having to copy and paste like you do in other programs. But if you are more comfortable copying and pasting, then by all means do what is easier for you.

Supplies needed:
Alexis’s Graphics Palace scrap kit Rainbow Blues. You can find where to buy it here.

The tube I’m using is verymany Emolution_2. You can get it here at Picsfordesign. Remember, you cannot use any tube without a license.

Mask: Weescotslass Creations mask 259, get it here

Font used is Eras Demi ITC. You can use any font you want though.

Open a canvas 500x500

Create your mask using paper 4, place in the center of your canvas.

Add your tube, resize and center horizontally. Add a drop shadow.

Open frame 3, add a drop shadow and position it behind the tube, as if she’s sitting on it. Rotate it to 25.2.

Open element 6, add a drop shadow and position it under the tube on the lower left side of your canvas.

Open element 01, add a drop shadow. Set rotation to 8.1. Resize it to 40x40%  and position in the upper right hand corner.

Open element 30. Resize it to 45.8 x 45.8%. Position it in the upper left hand corner under tube. Rotate -7.5 degrees.

Open element 33. Make sure it’s behind your tube. Rotate to -31.2. Resize so it fits on the frame with the yellow part of the ribbon touching the purple part of the frame. The bow will sit outside the frame a bit. Add a drop shadow and outer glow using the default settings.

Open element 20. Add a drop shadow. Resize 25.2%.  Rotate -8.1 and position it on the upper left hand corner as if it’s hanging from the ribbon.

Open element 29. Resize 28.6% and place on the right hand side of your canvas. On the frame.

Open element 21. Resize 40%, add a drop shadow. Position it on the lower right hand side making sure it is under your tube.

Now for the name, I used all lower case. I made my font yellow. Added a drop shadow, beveled it, added a 2 px purple stroke using the default settings for the rest. I placed it over element 26.

One last thing, delete the white background on your canvas.

Add your license for the tube you used and your tagger identification mark. Save as .png and you’re done.
